A paper by Perry Johnson is currently 7th on the list of most frequently read articles from AIAA’s Journal of Thermophysics and Heat Transfer. The standings are based on number of full text article downloads on the online digital library.
The paper content was a subset of Perry’s undergraduate Honors in the Major thesis work which eventually received the First Place Outstanding Thesis Award at the 2012 Founder’s Day Honors Convocation.
Later, a derived paper was named the 2013 David Weaver Best Student Paper by the AIAA Thermophysics Technical Committee.
These facts underscore the quality, scope, and impact of the work performed by students at CATER.
